Neighborhood cat messing up my paint! [Pics]
There is this cat in the neighborhood that staked claim on my car. Every morning when I go to work, I would see him sitting on the roof or the hood of my car. He drags his NASTY DIRT FILLED PAWS all over the car. One time when I was working on my car ,he tried to get in through one of the open doors. WTF?!?! I just washed my car not that long ago and now there is already paw prints with mud all over the top of the roof, hood, and trunk.
How do you get rid of it? Such a pain in the @ss when you spent hours detailing your car just to wake up in the morning to have it all ruined. I got a 2 car garage but I have two project cars in there so I can't put it in the garage. I don't want to hurt the damn thing but what can I do to make him not make my camaro his fortress? I attached some pictures below but they look A LOT worse in person. There are scratches from his claw when he gets off or on my car. There is even a patch of hair on the hood with some nasty liquid making it stick to the hood. UGH!! |

In L.A. we can get a cage from the pound or shelter, trap the cat and take it to the pound. Anyone wants there cat they go there. After that I dont know as they " are back on the street"

Canned air is good to scare them off, if you can get close enough before they bolt. We trained our cats to keep off tables, counters, and dressers that way.

Get yourself a nice size rat trap and bait it with cat nip. That'll send a nice message to the neighborhood kitty.

I would say get an animal trap and take it for a LONG drive.

Not a cat lover.....set a trap for the cat and bring it to the pound.

You could put a bowl of anti-freeze out. I hear cats love that.
**Disclaimer: I am not advocating killing the cat, even though anti-freeze will definitely do that.** |

A Car cover and a squirt gun/air soft pellet gun
Or see if your local SPCA will set a trap for the cat and take the lil bastard away...
