Where are all the Camaros?
I arrived yesterday from Germany, and on my way from the airport, I was hoping to see a Camaro, but nothing.
Today I also drove around, but nothing. Where are you all hiding?????? I have not seen one in real life yet. By the way, where can I send my petition to change the speed limits?

oh believe me (and alot of other people on here), they're out there! I saw 6 in two 10 minute trips this weekend. Some people are so upset, they don't want anyone else to keep buying them!

Well if your in NJ its been pretty lousy weather out here lately , was there all weekend and it was just raining so many people probably had theres in the garage. Some still might have them stored for the winter 2 as it has been known to snow on occasion in april in the tri-state area. I saw 3 on the garden state parkway on my way home to CT from Atlantic city though so they are out there. And trust me i'm with ya on the speed limits, cars and technology and their safety keep improving yet the speed limits stay the same, doesn't make any sense.

I saw one Saturday with Jersey plates heading north on the PA trnpike. Other than that, I don't see many around here either. BTW... welcome home from Germany. (And I'm with ya on the speed limit. )

I just bought my Camaro home saturday and where I live the two closest Dealers were axed last year so there isn't many around here. I have only seen two in the area and none in the last few months. Alot of Mustangs but virtually no Camaros. When I parked my car at work today I couldn't get out of the car because a fella pulled up beside me and wanted to know all about my new ride, had 6 more people come right up to me drooling and wanting to know all about my Camaro. Honestly when I went to get it I had no idea that people would react like this. Trust me there a lots of grown men going nuts over these cars. It's funny and a little strange. Have never had this many people tell me in one day they loved my car. When I bought a car back in the 90's I would get the comment every couple days or once a week but nothing like this. It's crazy cool

Where are all the Camaros??? I don't know. I've had mine for 9 months, use it as a DD, over 10k miles........I have only seen one other one on the road in 9 months, and only 2-3 parked in lots.

Still not that many of them out there. We just went over 100,000 built and divide that into how many "hundreds of millions" of vehicles on the road in the USA.....you can go miles and miles, hec, even state to state and NOT see one.
In Jan there were roughly 5000 of them in CA, I would guess that is more like 7000 + now. There are 40 million cars on the road in CA....I live in San Diego and I can go days without seeing another Camaro....then sometimes I can see 3 in one day. They are out there and they are beautiful machines. I see more Vettes than I see Camaros. Still love the car, the performance, the aggressive look. HOT baby! |
