Do NOT buy the duralast low profile jack... mine started leaking hydraulic fluid after about three years.... It's no longer safe to use.

I bought an aluminum low profile jack from Sears. It was on sale and if they would had a second one I'd have bought that too It's a nice piece of kit.

Every "race jack" I've owned has been a piece of junk. I picked up this one a few years back and it works great on super low vehicles (it could get under my 4th gen TA which was lowered 1.5"). It also works great on my ZL1 and TB SS. Long reach, lifts up very high and is strong but heavy. Costco also sells it.

U.S. Jack and Milwaukee Hydraulics still make USA made jacks and jackstands.

Hein Werner now offers a USA made jack and jack stands as well.

The only good "race" jacks that will last are the true racing jacks used by real race teams, and they are not cheap at all.

Lot of your imported jacks use cheap seals and the majority of their failures are from leakage. Usually they can be brought to a good hydraulic shop and rebuilt using better o-rings and etc to beef them up.

I bought a Pittsburg 4ton jack from harbor freight. It is not low profile. It does not make it under my car. I cut a plank into 2- 2' pieces to get more clearance under my car. Works great now. I also have a set of rhino ramps I use as well

I just got a 3 ton low profile steel jack from harbor Freight the other day. Used it when I changed my 20's to 18" heritage wheels on Saturday for the winter, Works great.

Picked up this 1.5 ton race jack at HF for $69.00 four or five months ago. I've only used it a few times but so far so good. It easily fits anywhere I need under my 1.25 inch lowered beast.

I have quite a few hydraulic jacks...some I bought over 40 years ago...Blackhawk, Craftsman, Lincoln, OTC, HF...and have never had a leak or failure...
one of the 1st things I did was take apart the cylinder and clean it real good...add new hydraulic fluid...
I bought one of the HF $59 aluminum jacks that I keep in my truck, and havnt had time to do that one yet...

Do the HF jacks mentioned fit under the rear to reach the rear diff? Both my 3 and 4 ton craftsman didn't so I had to use 2 jacks to get the rear up :(
