I have 305/45R18 MT ET streets drag radials and my car makes 630+ at the wheels. I've already ran 7.59 @ 91MPH and I miss shifted in 3rd gear at Irwindale. I need lots of practice on take off because I'm getting use to my new clutch. My best 60' is 1.76 and I know I can do better. Haddad drove my car one time and did a 1.63 60' his only time diving it. I've since installed 9" rear with 3.70 gears. With practice I think I can get low 7s.

I haven't broke lower than 11.5 in the 1/4 so I don't need a roll bar yet. I'm close but not there yet. At Irwindale all they ask for me is a helmet and fire jacket. I've ran a mid 8s with bolt ons only and wore a ball cap and seat belt. I don't think they require a helmet until under 8 seconds.

I am almost positive I will be at the drags this Thursday March 14 if anyone wants to try and set up some time up a meet?

Actually there, they require a helmet for anything under 8.5

I went back and looked at some of my vids. I wasn't under 8.5 seconds. I know I was in the 8s.

it is really nice to see what your car can do, like inferno said the adrenaline fades. doesnt compare to a road course in that aspect. i want to go to see the numbers that my mild build can do, and show off CMS's work.

I was planning on going this thursday, but I want to wait to install some more goodies that are on order. So instead I decided to take a trip to Adams Motorsports Park and ran my car there for the first time. Turned out they were having a Chevy Vs. Ford shootout and I was the only Chevy that showed haha
