From another thread:
http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showpo...48&postcount=8

You can disconnect every thing to the spindle/axle hub on the passenger side and pull the passenger axle. Use a little pressure with a pry bar next to the differential and it pops right out. You can then drop the differential and slide it toward the passenger side to get it off the driver side axle. Cuts your time in half. A transmission jack is a good idea. It probably weighs close to 100 lb..

Hope this helps, I'll be swapping out mine soon and will post pics.

did you have upgrade main caps? these are a must due to the flex in the housing...also these must be installed with a case spreader with precise specs...no room for error!!!!

Had it done 6 months ago, at that time I did not see any info about the caps. Now I am worried my case is bad and I will have to get a new case along with the new gears and set up. Alot of $$$$...Maybe somebody out there upgrading to a 9" can sell me thier stock set-up cheap!!

Thanks for the info!
