Hi. Just got back to being able to post. Had a big Readiness Review today that we have been working on at the office since returning from LA... Let's just say sleep this week has been minimal. Actually gonna go crash right now...zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...

Anyway, the quote above by MC69 is quite accurate. The amount of pulls to handle the 10 zillion possible street/strip combinations is pretty time consuming but once it is done should be easy to drive. The only thing we may not have finished for the Fest is the AMS1000 Electronic Boost Controller. A 5th computer to play with the rest.

Glad to see how everyone else's cars are getting geared up for the Fest.
This is the C5 community at its craziest.

That has to be the most articulate review of speedster's car I've read yet.

How can you live in NM and NOT be going to the Fest!? I wish I lived that close.

It's a shame you're not going, there's a BIG FRIKKIN' HOLE in the ground that might fascinate a dirt doctor... and the rock trees, and the dinosaurs! (I think the dinosaurs are fake tho, they just stand there)

Maybe next year our northern friends will have their chance for fest III

Some very good news from this end. The dyno pulls are done and the motor runs pretty darn awesome. We ran the motor hard and the guys at NRE felt so strong about it that after they ran it, they pulled it all apart to check it out for complete combustion and (lack of) wear properties, then put it back together and did a few final dyno pulls. It is truly a wolf in sheeps clothing.

I can't spill all the beans, but when compared to the NRE 1750 HP Alien TT 427 it was +5 to +10 ft-lbs of TQ and +40 to +50 HP throughout the boost levels. So we handily hit our target of 4 HP/CI and then some. Pretty stoked on this end. We even dropped the rocker arm ratio down from 1.8 to 1.7 to really stick with the 100% streetability of this engine.

My hats off to the whole NRE Team. They put in some monster hours this week to make sure everything is just right.

To be serious... you must be so stoked, speedster. That sounds awesome. Once beans are allowed to be spilled, I'm really hoping to see lots and lots of pics and vids!!! Congrats!!!

Oh and then there is that ride you promised me...

Thanks. I took a couple of pics and videos on my phone while out there last week, but Tom's crew are the ones that take the really good pics and put the videos together. I will see when they are available...
