Very cool Diane!

Here are a few from this summer's vacations.

This is inside the Chapel of the Holy Cross in Sedona, AZ. Although it could be a bit better, but I love this photo.

The Chapel from the access road

This is the Milky Way. I shot this from our hotel room. The line is a plane flying though the frame.

My new friend perched on the ledge of the Grand Canyon

Later that night, we went to William, AZ.

Here is a Friday picture of my newest grandson Jack. He is in a hat box with a hat that was my grandfathers. That would make it Jack's great great grandfathers hat.

Family is what it really is all about.

Thanks Diane. I seem to have picked up night time photography pretty well.

Sometimes I get artsy. This one was shooting towards Sedona from far west Sedona. Had to deal with a mercury light nearby.

Good morning crew. Time to get ready to cruise!. It looks to be a very nice day starting out crisp & cold at 38 degrees but warming to around 60. I will have pics tonight (better late than never. I had a busy day yesterday & managed to go get a haircut too (badly needed). Have a great Saturday crew.

Diane, Jack was about 4 weeks. Grand kids are the best. I would have had them first if I would have know that.

Rick, the photos are neat. The Route 66 shop looks like it has some really neat stuff. What was the light source from behind the mountain and was that an effect or the actual light shade ??

Work this morning then on to the car shed this afternoon and evening. Jack gets Baptized on Sunday.

Hope everyone has a great weekend !!

John

The light source behind the mountain was Sedona. We drove about 10 miles west of Sedona. I was hoping to shoot more Milky Way pics, but it was cloudy, so I made the best of the situation.

Going to 2 car activities today. Up and at 'em.

I spent my Saturday continuing to get ready for winter. I took the RV to the storage lot, removed all of the now dead annual plants, cleaned up more leaves, winterized the pressure washer, got the snowblower ready for duty, and filled the tank on the winter car.

My wife and I visited the Chapel in Sedona just after we got married in Sierra Vista, two or three or thirty years ago. It was beautiful then and I am sure it still is. I will have to dig out the old pictures.

Had a great time today going to two car events. The first was the 8th Annual Valley Speed Center Reunion. And of course, I drove over to the Pavilions Cruise.

Well today was spent washing Ruby & doing some yard work. With this cold snap coming our days will be limited for getting things done. Mike will have to wash his Camaro Monday or Tuesday after work. Mike put out some new lights around the yard & raked up some pine needles. Then I hauled the pine needles to be used as mulch around trees & shrubs in the yard while Mike cooked us some hamburgers on the grill. We wanted to start a fire in the fire pit but ran out of day. We still have not had a chance to initiate it. Here area few pics from the yard.
