You know what really floats my boat?

I love nailing a heel-toe downshift, and having friendly conversations with total strangers about Camaros, and cars in general. Today, for instance, I had an older guy ask me about my car while I was sitting in a drive-thru, and tell me about his red and silver '68.

Ok, so what really floats your boat?

Whoa! That's awesome. Do you ever come back during the Doo-Wop in the fall?

Funny story about that. I registered to go in 2012 and the day before we were leaving something came up and we couldn't go. About 3 weeks later I get a letter from them and I figure it's just a flyer for next year. A couple of days later I open it up and it's a check for $300 for 3rd longest distance traveled. Holy Crap I say. This is my kind of show. They pay you for not showing up. I sent an email about it and never got a reply so what the f, I cashed it. I did go the next year in 2013 and won $200 for the 4th longest distance. Didn't make it last year, but would like to go back for another one of those bologna burgers from the vendors. It is an awesome show. Usually around 1000 cars during the 4 day event.

^^ That's a lot of bologna...I've attended the last two years, but I may drag my junk there and participate this year for the heck of it.
