Yes it did melt them just a little so I added the halo rings to the fog light. I turn the fog lights on on rainy days and the halos on regular days.

That's the problem I used a 35 Watts but so far since i've been switching up beween the fog and halo's it has not been a problem.

Well the 25watt kit is about the same brightness. If your worried about heat you could just swap out the 35watt ballasts to 24watt ballasts. I have also seen some places that sell hids are capping the bulbs. This should help cut the beam a little for fog lights. I have not seen them run in person with the caps though. Not sure if the sell the caps for self install though.

Sorry to revive an old thread, but anyone know where I can pick up 25 watt HID ballasts?
