Amazing! That is certainly a testament for the Camaro's safety factor.
Glad you are ok, and when you get the new IOM, start fresh with new memories. I can only imagine how you feel, but you are lucky to only have minor injuries.

There's no doubting that GM's safety engineers really did do their job with this car. I shudder to think what could have happened if I were driving the third gen that day...and now think twice about driving it during peak traffic hours.

yep ... makes you feel better when you get behind the wheel. Thanks for sharing your story and really sorry to hear about the loss of the camaro.

Certainly could have been much worse .. so that's something to not beat yourself up about.

and I agree, wait for the ZL1 !!!

OP, glad you are OK, sorry to hear about your Camaro. I loved living in London EXCEPT for the drivers there. Good luck with finding your new one!

A moment of silence observed...

:( Oh my gosh...thank goodness you walked away with minor injuries!
Very sorry for your loss, but thankful that you're okay and have the ability to bring home a new one.
Can't wait to see pics of the new Camaro, whichever you choose.

That pic makes me want to cry. I do grieve with you. I'm very glad you are okay & that you will be able to replace your baby. I know it will never be the same, but like others said, .......new memories. Here are some flowers for your baby. :(
