First class or business?

Has anyone ever tried out business class? If so, how was it?

I only fly first class but I'm going to be traveling a lot over the summer all over the states, some europe and the carribean so I'm trying to decide what I should book.

Its more about who you sit next to than where you sit. First Class if your flying 5+ hours...

International business class is not bad at all. It's certainly better and more roomy than domestic first class...

well in my limited experience. I'm not that rich

I like being in the music industry but the downside is having to travel a lot. There's no way that I'm even willing to fly economy class or jetblue. So it's either business or first.

I flew United business class from San Francisco to London Heathrow airport. Ten hours in the air and never had a single complaint for comfort or service. The only difference between first or business class was cloth seats for business class and leather for first class. Otherwise they are the same.

Yeh I mean they are pretty much the same. Gotta ask though, why did you choose united instead of other airlines such as virgin, delta, etc.?

I put in around 10k miles a year and JetBlue is my #1st choice every time.

It's mine too. Seeing as how it's actually from ny and jfk is it's "home turf". The only problem is that I need more personal space

international business & first are a mile apart... however the difference in price doesn't justify the bump...

Business has good value for money... first if u just wanna spend $$$...

I'm not rich, but I have flown quite a bit because my wife is a flight attendant. So, my 2 cents is that it depends on the plain you are flying on. I've had a first class seat that was basically an egg shaped cubicle all to myself, that had it's own tv, and it stretched out so I could lay flat and all other sorts of cool stuff. I've also had a first class seat that was just a bigger than coach seat. I've sat in business class seats that were better than some first class seats. It all depends on the type of plain your flying on.
