Cutting the bump stops will help regain some suspension travel and prevent bottoming out. Having grown up driving Louisiana roads, I think it was a very good move.

You don't have to cut the bump stops with our springs, but like everyone else said you will be perfectly fine doing so.

So True! The roads absolutely suck here!

Im thinking about getting some new ones and installing them uncut because my back tires are rubbing just a little and I think it would help

As Kyle mentioned it is not necesarry but isn't going to hurt anything either. The OE bumpstop is progressive. The first inch or so is very soft and as it is compressed it gets progressively stiffer. Removing the soft portion will just remove that progression and make the hit a little more stiff when it does touch.

Where are your tires rubbing? Cutting them should have no effect on your tires rubbing. Are your wheel offsets correct? Plenty of members running 315/35's and lowered 1.5" w/no rubbing issues.

I think the tires rubbed off the part that was hitting now and I got the rest with a dremel tool. The offset on the wheels are just a little too far out .25" in would have been spot on
