Techco is just another option for you all.....some people will want it, some people wil not and that is the fact of life. Techco now has over 225 units out there in just under 7 months for Dodge/Ford and now GM. Techco has tested the unit for 18 months prior to even shipping their first unit.

Second, what I don't understand is here we have gotpball44 who is obviously happy with his choice and DID do his research prior to taking the Techco plunge, he posts his excitement, then he has a competitor of the Techco product jump into his Techco thread and talk about his? Seems to me that someone is nervous about what Techco is doing even though Magnusson has 43 years experience. I know it is a public forum and to each his own and one day there will be a Techco sc car next to another competitors sc car and the fun will begin.

Lastly, I ask everyone to do their research and ask this question "Do you design, manufacture and assemble your product all in one location?"

THERE IS NO REPLACEMENT FOR DISPLACEMENT
Like I said I invite the competition, and last I checked it was not a "Techo" thread it was someone talking about their car being at "TECHO". We are not the least bit nervous, I look forward to running into you on the track

As for your displacement comment, that remains to be determined. As for the 275 units, I am really excited for you! It is nice to see you guys being successful.

I hope you don't run into me, lets just stay in our lanes and not turn it into a Ricky Bobby/Jean Girard ordeal and we promise not to bring in Cal Naughton Jr in for the "shake and bake".

So when are we going to see this competition? I'll drive down to Pomona to see this - maybe even Ventura

they only started shipping 7 months ago, that's why they have only 275 units sold. I dunno if you were being sarcastic lol, so just wanted to let you know. Its all going up hill for them and pretty fast. With all the magazine coverage they are getting and going to get.

Speaking from the Mustang side, I know those Techco blowers make a lot of power at a smaller PSI, and is a really really nice complete kit. It also stays very cool under boost. The Magna charger as we call em, well they do not have a TVS for the Stangs. Theirs is the twin screw. I have seen them on some cars I know, and I have seen some issues....Most of it has been with the intercoolers, some have been other issues with the Shaft.

SO ON A MUSTANG, (before people get confused) for TVS, we looked to the Whipple and Edelbrock. For Twin screw most run with the KB, Whipple, Saleen and Techco's have been poping up. Centri's are ATI or Vortech/Paxton.

Personally, I would LOVE to see, two cars prepped identically except for the supercharger, then dyno'd on the same dyno, same day, then raced. By necessity, each manufacturer is gong to be biased towards their product. I just want to see what is the best value for my money.

regardless. I'm sure each product is good for the application used. Each company has their reasons for the type of chargers they use.

The Techco units are the cats ass for sure. I think they are the new top dog. One thing I do NOT like about them is they are pretty noisey.

+1 on this.
I saw one on a Stang and as he was driving up, I thought it was a Race Procharger on it it was so noisy....even at idle. Yeah they are pretty loud.

what makes them loud is the lightweight sprockets in the back. Techco showed me this before i gave them the car. You could hear it when hood is opened, but when they closed the hood on the challenger i didnt hear anything.
