I immediately surfed my way to USAA.com and used their New Car Buying Service to get some quotes (they got me $1000 over Invoice/$513 off the MSRP).

What Camaro and options did you order?

A sweet 2SS IOM M6 with Black Leather/IOM trim. VZG, VYX, VRU, VTD, WRS, CF5 and Q9J.

When did you place your Camaro order?

May 5, 2009

In what city did you place your Camaro order?

Fillmore, CA

Had a Constraint for the Engine Cover, so we removed that option. To be installed upon delivery.

My Dealer tells me that the car is waiting to be built, but he does not know exactly when that will be.

Wm. L. Morris has been really good. After driving a 2LT A6, I told the salesman about my USAA "Deal". He said he couldn't help. The next day he called back and told me that they have done lots of business with other USAA customers and would be only too happy to meet their quote. I placed my order the following Tuesday.
Got a TPW of 6/29. Then was held-up on the tranny issue. Made it through QC, and received a Rail Car number. Oh baby...yeah mama! The train arrives in Mira Loma on August 3rd.

After seeing all of the cool stuff that folks are doing to their cars, I helped myself pass the time, by getting some more options for my Hot Rod. GMPP Shorty Headers, Cat-Back Exhaust and Air Box (too many, "it's so quiet" posts). GM Heritage Grille and Satin Fuel Door. Side Vent Grille Inserts, 6.2L/LS3 Emblems and Chrome SS Emblems.

Just a few more days to wait. Hoping to be able make it for the next get together!

Camaro5.com and you guys rock.

I ordered my 1SS/RS from Richard Hibbard Chevrolet at MSRP. I was the first at their dealership to get the 2010 Camaro
