As far as the amp rack that you have pictured I dont believe it will fit with that type of enclosure. I had a similar set up (the one ******** sells) and wanted to use that same rack, it wouldnt fit. I think the same thing is going to happen to you as the rack is too long.

As far as amps go, my choice for the same scenario would be Phoenix Gold, Zed Audio, Sound Solutions Audio, or JL HD series.

Indpowr is running this and I'm sure he would be thrilled to tell you all about it.

If I wouldn't get strung up by the wife I would snatch this up. This is the amp I wanted, but couldn't afford a new one.
That Audison makes me all tingly ... one of the few multi-channel amps I would actually use

Piece together your own wiring kits. You will need other stuff also.
Check out this site. Good products.

The ******** amp install kit isnt bad, its a pretty good price at $74 and it looks like it has an ANL fuse holder.

I agree with Foreverman, I like the knukonceptz stuff. I also use the Stinger HPM but I think on my next install it will be the knu stuff.

Cheers

Current reading I've done says that newer Optima batteries are not good.

ie from diyma.com:

Re: How long have you had your yellowtop

Optima is not the same Optima of years ago. The company was bought out and manufacturing changed hands. There were even rumors that the lead they started using was not virgin led, but rather recylced, which of course was cheaper for the company to use. They were counting on the products reputation in the 80's and 90's to keep sales where they were suppose to be.

Usually you get what you pay for...but in
optima's case..thats not the story now.

Odyssey is one of the best made batteries now...it uses the same cell theory that
Optima uses, but uses plate design verses coil pack design. The plate design actually has more surface area then the coil design. this is what a huge number of police and emergency vehicles use.

Whew!! Thanks for all the input guys. I am not totally 100% set on the 3 10" subs set up...I mostly listen to hip hop and love bass, but want a clean, crisp sound. I also show my car so looks are important as well and that was what really sold me on the JL Audio set up. I am a complete noob when it comes to audio, so any input you all have is greatly appreciated...just don't make my head hurt too much!!! LoL!!! I will take a look at the posted links....and I am not above purchasing used if in like new condition!

Are you looking for something to install yourself or are yOu going to have it installed? There are ways to hide imperfections if you find a great deal on a slightly scratched amp.
