Question Best Adhesive..?

i took off my rear bowtie and am ready to put it back on.. just wondering what adhesive would work best.. first one that comes to mind is the double sided 3M tape but last time i used it was a fail.. anything else good out there..?

If you used 3m tape and it failed then you did not properly prep the paint. 3m tape is the best there is for these type of applications.

I agree with the others. I would also add that 3M makes a liquid emblem glue that allows you to mount the emblem flush.

No, most body shops use it.
The only negative to it IMO is the set up time. But that is easily remedied with painters tape.

You need to make sure that the surfaces are clean then apply 3M adhesive promoter to the paint and the emblem then the double sided tape will not come off.

find a local body shop supply house and get the 3M emblem tape.
