Oh well if you gun it I would count it as a kill anyway just on general principle.

Also, you white SRT8's don't exist. It must have been a R/T.

I don't know why you can't order a white SRT8, but they don't build 'em in white.

I was challenged by a SVT lightning. Close close close race. He said he runs 12.8 at the track.
So I'm guessing this lightning wasn't stock. Did he tell you what all was done?

Last time at the track I ran a 13.8 and an SRT8 Charger with MagnaFlows ran 13.9. I did not race him heads up but I raced a Challenger R/T and had a one second lead in all 4 races.

True, probably just a typo. No white SRT's unless its a custom paint job.

If your friend ran a 14.8 in a Challenger R/T he cant drive so good...

Stock R/T's do mid 13's easy......and low 13's are very common.

Enough, Enough......the Challenger SRT-8 is very close to the SS, but the R/T gets left behind very quickly. I have raced both and I know for sure that my friends are good drivers. We go to the track almost every weekend and my SS has taken both pretty easily......

I find that tough to swallow due to the mid to high 13 sec 1/4 mile times I have seen from most in the Camaro SS.

Face it..the Camaro SS is not "King of the road".....You could lose to a Mustang GT or Challenger SRT8 or RT

All three cars can hall azz

This. Though a bone stock GT 05~09 is going to have a tough time. A Billit or 2010 may do better...depends on the driver at that point. But for a SRT8....yeah Its truly a drivers race.

Could.....but not likely to the GT or R/T. To the SRT-8 Challenger I could see. But my engine is pretty broken in and is getting much better than mid to high 13s. Im running in the 13.0 to 13.3 range. 13.0 with drag tires on and 13.2 to 13.3 without on my auto trans. My T/A is hitting low to mid 11s but it is modded and my 05 GTO I had was running 12.9 with drag tires on. I'm not sure why everyone is getting these bad times but I haven't yet. I put it in sport mode, turn the competition mode on and off I go. My times have been around the same everytime. And I never said it was King of the Road......just faster than a GT and R/T.
