cam help
What is a nice drop in cam only that has better sound at idle than the LS9?

That cam requires spring and retainer change. LS9 cam is drop in and no changes needed other than tune.

No it doesnt! I ran that cam for a while on stick springs and retainers. It has the same lift as the ls9 but slightly different duration. The main difference is the lsa which gives it it's rough idle. bo white is running this cam also

I just read on their site and it said springs and retainers required. Maybe just to cover their asses.

It would be a waste of 1500.00 not to do a better cam especially if ya want chop.

I'm just curious, why not just change the springs? The cost is not astronomical.
