2015 ZL1 front end changes?

Not that I am in the market for one but, will the 2015 ZL1 have the 10-13 front end or will it be the same as the 14 ZL1 car?

Why would it have a 10-13??? It's a 2015, face lift will be there.

Because the 2014 ZL1 still has the 12-13 front end and 2014 back end

I think since the Z28 has the 2014 front end, the 2015 ZL1 will have the new front end.

I'm almost positive the 2015 ZL1 will look just like the 2014 ZL1. The reason why the 2014 ZL1 still has the "old" front is because GM invested alot of time and money into developing the ZL1 front aerodynamics. 2015 will likely be the last year of the 5th gen Camaro and it wouldn't make sense if GM changed the ZL1 front for just 1 model year.

Aero and cooling were sited as the reasons for the ZL1 keeping the other front end....

...but this is a good point.

I think it is pretty cool how the 2014 ZL1 is mix matched. If the 2015 front end does change the 2014 ZL1s could have some collectors value one day.

This.

It will likely retain the 12-14 ZL1 facia.

I don't foresee changes to the look of the zl1; It should be a carryover to the '14. I'm sure we'll get at least one new color added to the palette.

While I have no idea one way or another, did anyone contemplate NO ZL1 for 2015?

Not saying it won't be, but the way they're not flying off the shelves even at sale prices isn't boding well for sales figures. We're on the downswing side of maybe 2.5 months of 2014 production left.

But if they do, I think the build counts will be even lower than 2014, and they'll probably extend the hiatus in the winter month production cycles.

It's all just a guess.

My prediction is 0 changes for the 2015 model year across the board.

Personally I think the current models will sell well against the Mustang into the 2017 model year if a few tweaks to horsepower, new wheel options, colors, and some of the cool z28 enhancements are released.

Unless there is a new gen, then no bc gm said that the new front could not cool the engine w/ the supercharger & that's why it retained the carryover front.
It would be interesting to see if the '15 are the same or if it will be a new gen. I think if it is the same then gm might put the lt1 in the ss next year.
