Anyone got Nascar withdraws?

I cant wait for the new season to begin and for Jeff Gordon to retire so Chase Elliot can begin his career at Hendricks...

Not after last year's point system I may never watch it again. However, we are going to Richland in September.

Been a fan since the mid 1960's. Major Earnhardt fan here. I never pulled for Bill Elliott because I viewed him and Dale Earnhardt as rivals. Now, Chase.. I like him. Driving for Jr. is a plus in my book. I only pull for the GM teams. Just the way I was raised...

Can't wait for the racing and car show season to begin.

I like several different drivers but none in a Toyota.

Jr is my favorite even though he cant accomplish anything close to his dad and I like Keslowski because he is one hell of a driver in my book.

Roush has turned into a JOKE and FMC outta get rid of him IMO.

I miss NASCAR for sure. I always find time to at least watch or listen to the weekend race throughout the season. Since the season is pretty long (Feb-Nov), it's easy to get hooked.
I agree with the other comments on the new Chase format. The Chase now seems to be focused on making it exciting for the fans. However, it cheats good drivers out of winning the Championship. There are too many factors in racing that drivers can't control sometimes (blown engines, tire issues, drivetrain issues, pit crew mistakes, etc.). It's unfair for a driver to lose the Championship from a tire going down at the wrong time, even though they entered the Chase with the most points (for example).
Ryan Newman came very close to winning the Championship last season, even though he never won a race going into Miami. Doesn't make sense to me.

I haven't had withdrawals since Dale 3arnhardt passed, I catch a race here and there but NASCAR just seems to keep going down the crapper...

Can't take it serious anymore. Somewhere between hockey and wrestling. NASCAR seems to control the outcome. Being champion is just a short lived thrill nowadays. And that ESPN coverage is terrible. They run around looking for drivers that are mad. Funny listening to Rusty Wallace, "that's fer sure." Now Kenny Wallace, he's good at the TV stuff.
