blew second gear.
Hey guys, been a while since I was on. Since the last time I was here, I have purchased a 95 Z28 T Top 6 sp car. I have put a CAI, pullies, lunati cam, and a dyno tune on it in the month ive owned it. I then went and purchased some ZR1 Vette rims, and 325/35/17 rears and 275/45/17 in the front. I went out to my favorite burnout spot with my cop buddie, and did a burnout through first gear, as soon as I hit the Red line, I kept the gas down, and slammed it into second gear. I heard a BANG! shook the whole car, now I have no second gear. 1st works, as does every other gear, there is no grinding, no strange sounds, nothing seems wrong, I still have to put the clutch in to put it into the second gear spot, but as soon as I do, I let out the clutch, and nothing. It dont grab, grind, catch or anything... It feels like its still got the clutch in. I cant get it into the tranny shops for a month as there all booked up. and I dont know enough about the Tremic to try to take it apary myself, does anyone know what might have happened? Could it be a fork or somthing slipped off? I figure if I blew a gear, Id hear somthing tinging around or somthing. Any help would be greatly apreciated. Thanks
John.

Ok, so nobody knew what was wrong or even had the SLIGHTEST hint as what it could be? Anyways, I took it apart, and my second gear syncro is chewed to shit, and so is the teeth that push it into second. So now im ordering new parts from Michigan as nobody my stupid ass country ( canada ) seems to have anything for my car... not even GM!!!!!
