I'm bringing my wife and my fat bulldog. Can you or is it allowed to bring like a pop up tent for shade? I live in Memphis and it gets hot as hell here so I am sure it's going to be similar to what we have in bowling green. That extra shade would be nice.

Yeah, it will be hot & whoever said not a lot of humidity apparently has not spent that much time around here! It will be oppressive hot & muggy but still fun. Shade is a good thing. I got me a small little half canopy I will be bringing. Think about any mod you ever thought you wanted & some you never saw/heard of & the possibility of getting it for a good deal.....then decide how much $ to bring. Lots of water & a cooler are really handy.
I have been okay at the CamaroFest in both Drag & Autocross in the past with my motorcycle helmet & probably those will be fine unless you plan to drive the NCM track. I picked me up a snell helmet on ebay for $135. Be prepared to walk a lot as there is lots to see & do & lots of fun people to meet & talk to, so comfortable shoes. Be prepared for long days, late evenings & limited sleep. Too much fun to miss out on. I always say "you can sleep when you are dead" or ...............when you get home.
