Most auto transmissions can out shift most standards, especially the auto SS Camaros getting trans tunes for their sport modes.

Though you do lose more power to the drive train with an auto. And its not as fun.

Both are fun to own.

For a frist car if you have never had a manual then go with a automatic.
If you do want a manual get a beater or go rent a uhaul and practice on it ! I wouldnt practice on a New Spotrs car.


If you want to bang through the gears , smoky burnouts or act young then get a manual.

If you want a nice cruiser , a good car that performs good against another car from a dead stop get a automatic.


We are talking about an A6 Automatic Transmission not a A4 which Came in the current Gen Camaro's.

Todays modern Automatics have every advatage over a Stick shift car.
You dont miss a gear in a automatic to where a stick driver does not always hit the perfect shift EVERY SINGLE TIME.


its really up to you but if you have never had a stick with the cost of a Camaro get yourself an automatic.
