Another "New Stripes!" Thread! Tux fit Camaro
Installed a set of 45th Anniversary style striping for my SS. White striping with flat black insert. I was really at a loss for stripes until I saw the 45th style, I loved that dash of asymmetry. Might have the front flash redone with perhaps an SS logo or something in it later.
Ultimate aim for the car is to do a total tuxedo fit. All blacks and whites (maybe a dash of Carbon Fiber ) inside and out. Also spent the weekend debadging and blacking out the markers & front bowtie until I can get a heritage grille installed. Also sanded and painted the tail light bezels flat black. The back end will eventually have the Camaro lettering in flat black across the white stripe where the rear bowtie used to be. Home time however was up before I could get them put on, so thats for next time! Also still waiting on the damn vanity plate! So what do you all think? Am I heading in the right direction or have I gone horribly astray?

sorry, but i dont like it.... it just doesnt look right. yes a large SS in the black square will help, but to me it just looks like something is missing.

I agree. It just looks like something bad happened to your stripes.

I would maybe outline the flat black part with a red or white thin pin-stripe. Otherwise, I like it.

I agree with most... just looks unfinished. Interesting idea. Though, the front strips would look cool if you did the same to the other one. Would be a one off for sure.. but as it sits... not my bag of chips.
