On Star Android App help: 2 cars, can only see one.

In February I purchased my 2012 Chevy Camaro and I registered the Onstar and loved into my phone with the Onstar Remote Link application. This past week I purchased another new Chevy, a 2012 Cruze that is now also registered for Onstar service.

The Remote Link application only sees the first car I registered (Camaro) and I see know way to to swap to another car. Is there something I am not seeing, or will this only work on the first car you purchased?

Please help. The Cruze is my daily driver and I really would like to have control of it with the Onstar application, and in a perfect world I would like to have the ability to toggle between cars. I'll soon be adding a third car to this Onstar list... So it will only get worse!

Larry

I don't have two cars but if I remember correctly, you have to sign out of the app and then sign back in using the Onstar id for the Cruze. Anytime you wish to change vehicles you have to do this.

I'll try. Not sure why it wouldn't be auto updated, but I'll give it a look.

Ok, I got it! Thanks.

I did have to log out and back in, and now the log in showed the 2 cars and you select what one you want to see. So the system on log in saw both cars. Also, after that new log in, the bottom route of page icons has been expanded do that you drag it to the left a bit and a new icon is now there that is titled "vehicle" that lets me easily toggle cars.

This makes me feel peace in the universe! I'm happy.

Thank you!

Well good to see they finally changed it so you don't have to go through all that hassle.

lock/unlock doors, remote start (if your car has it) it can also show things like tire pressure, gas levels (I think).

Fuel level, miles to empty, odometer, trip 1, trip 2, oil life remaining, sound alarm, stop alarm, lock, unlock, remote start, has integrated Google maps and you can send destination to car.
