Cool, what tune will you be using, doing heads?

I asked Kip to include everything I'd need for the cam swap, let me check the box. T&D shaft mounted rockers may fit under the factory valve covers, if not, I'll use a spacer.

I got my original pushrods from Kip. 5/16 .120 wall. I think they're fine for the BTR 660 kit. When I decided to shim up my rockers, Kip didn't have any in stock in the length I needed. I ordered some Manton 11/32 .120 pushrods with tool steel tips. The best pushrod you could use is a 3/8 double taper pushrod. They're pricey with tool steel tips however. Like $500+ a set.

I paid $250 for the 11/32 Mantons. You can get trends around the same price. The Cam Motion .120 pushrods were nice though.

BTR chromoly one piece 7.400", 5/16" diameter, .080" wall.

PR7400312-16

Included with the Cam Motion kit, however, the shaft mounted rockers haven't been installed or shimmed yet.

If either of you need a set of Manton pushrods in 7.300 length, I have a spare set unused that I will cut you a deal on. Retail is 300 + shipping. I'll sell them to a member doing a LLSR for $150. If they're the correct length for you...

They were perfect for me until I shimmed the stands .050

Good info, thanks. Pushrods will be about the last thing I'll need. Won't know what lengths I'll need until it's all said n done, which well hopefully be in the Fall.

I put about 300 miles on it this weekend. It ran good. Could take it as low as 60 mph with no bucking in 6th. Not that you'd want to, it's only 1500 rpms.

^^^^ This is very encouraging, nice street manners. Have you had the opportunity to do a little spirited twisty hill driving?

A little. Still plenty of torque for the twisties from what I've seen so far, and I haven't even run it hard on the backroads.

When do you feel the torque coming on? I'm hoping to complete the build next month after I return home and seeing how the DRs perform.
