Jeff, thank you. I will keep everyone updated. As of now I called 3 times without a call back and I asked them to have the service advisor call me back. And now there are 40 miles more miles on it from when I initally dropped it off! I almost don't want the car back now since it has brought nothing but problems even though I absolutely love the car...

Just wondering, how long have you had this car?

It's still new . Bro just stay on their asses man. I'm getting upset for you and it's not even my car. But it's just reminding me off my similar situation. Atleast pick up the phone and respond back to you. They could atleast give you that much. I would report them to the BBB or something. It's a damn shame !!!

Ok, update... Just got off work and drove to the dealer and it was done. They completely repainted the hood and fender. Also fixed the door ding. Everything looks new now! The service advisor said they got an ear full from the survey I sent in. Oh, and they gave it back with an empty tank... Oh well guess they can't win them all, lol... But at least its fixed...

Well an empty tank is the less of the worries. The fact that they made it right, and your satisfied. Well hopefully now you can properly enjoy your whip.

I guess she only had 40 miles left in the tank thank goodness LOL. If they would have filled it up, they probably would've used regular fuel and then you would have to do a fuse pull. Hope all goes well from here on out.

Yeah, that's all they have there is regular gas... Thanks everyone for the support and this is the best forum! The service advisor told me they are looking heavily into their body shop because this wasn't the first time this has happened... They did surprise me with a clear bra when the paint dries at no charge... Looks like they are trying to make good from this incident... I think ill write a letter to the GM and thank the guys that finally helped me out.

That's good! I was going to ask you to if they offered anything to you to kind of make up for their fumble. My dealer did especially after the performance that I gave. lol !!

Ok guys, Camaro has been sitting for a while and after I washed it the damn illusion on the hood came back from them apparently buffing it. I don't think they did a thing to it last time except probably wax the hood. The rest of the car looks great after a wash with no scratches or illusion. This is now getting very annoying especially since this will be the 5th time its been back for the same problem. I don't think the lemon law applies to paint issues or does it?

Did they ever give you an explination as to why they had to rack up 40 miles on your car? At that rate and the amount of times you have had it in the shop, they will put more miles on it than you.

LOL, no joke! They said they had to drive it to the body shop... All I want is to have the hood and fenders back to factory shine. But now after this, being the 5th time to the dealer I will probably mention the lemon law as it does not state weather it has to be mechanical or not here in AZ. When my freinds or someone else see it in the sun they ask what happened to the hood? It pisses me off because it's a BRAND NEW CAR! I think I'll just talk to GM Customer Service and see what can be done.

Go forward with the excalation proceedures on the sticky for this section and be done with it. Interested in hearing what they say once you mention the lemon law.

40 miles round trip to the body shop, sounds like your dealership is in the sticks with no neighbors for miles around.
