Dyno vid of Kooks LT headers, SLP LM1 exhaust and LMR CAI

Here is the video of my SS on LMR's dyno. It put down 390whp on their dynojet. The car baselined 350 whp so I'm happy with the gains! Only 500 miles on the odometer at the time.

Here is just a short clip of my setup at idle and short revs to give ya'll a good idea of the sound

That thing is LOUD! Nice gains.... when you get that thing dyno tuned it should get a good bit more HP and really run nice! Plus im sure the heat is keeping your numbers down.

Is 350RWHP just because you only had 500 miles on it and the engine wasnt fully broken in, or is that where these cars are supposed to be?

I thought I had read that 370-380 is where these cars were supposed to be.
I may have read wrong though..... Lookin at the calculator, a 15% loss from 426 would be about 362 or so.

Car is tuned by the way. Lmr's dyno I guess reads lower than others so I'm sure I could be well over 400whp somewhere else. I'm happy with the gains.

Unfortunately there is a wide range .. 350s - 380s .. I myself stock was at 358 or so ... we have been told the manual drivetrain soaks up about 16% on these cars.

Post some more vids of you really reving it and getting on it hard down the road. Does it sound raspy at all and how is the drone? I am torn between the LM1 and the Borla but I really like the aggressiveness of the muffler delete.

Sweet. Kooks Rocks. I plan on doing something just like this, except with my LMII.

Looking for a few more details about ur setup...

1. Are you using the stock H-pipe/Mid-Pipes?
2. High Flow Cats or no cats?
3. Is there any popping on deceleration? Drone at highway speeds?
4. Model #'s would be great.
5. Did you install the headers yourself? If so, how difficult?

Thanks,

Steve

Very nice gains.
And as mentioned, on someone elses dyno you would probably be over
400rwhp. Houston, Texas (big time heat and humidity).

Yes, for now I am using stock h-pipe and with high flow cats from Kooks. There def is popping on deceleration, that's gonna happen with any muffler delete. Actually, in 6th gear on the highway, you barely hear the car. The Camaro's cabin is so solid that you barely hear it. I had LMR do the install of the whole thing. It shouldn't be too hard of a install but I just don't have the time to do an install like this anymore! I will probably be selling my SLP LM1 as I think I am gonna go with MBRC's full catback with square tips to match my gfx.

I dont know about that tune. That thing is going way rich from hit through the top end I was seeing A/F go down into 11.5-12.0 range which is way too rich for an NA motor. My supercharged cobra runs 11.5-11.7 A/F and that is considered good and safe. Have them take a closer look at that. there is more power to had there.

Really nice ride though and sounds good.

Yeah, I know more power is in it but we'll see. I have either a procharger or a vortech s/c in my sights, hopefully soon!
