vortech from another car?
so my friend has a vortech for his 2012 5.0 and is soon going to upgrade to a procharger. i was wondering if id be able to take his vortech and just get the mounts for a camaro? i know the piping wont work but just wondering if the blower its self is universal?

I'd search the part number if the camaro kits the unit might be able to be used but I'm not sure

Not too sure. If he's running a CW rotation, you probably can. You just might have to loosen the bolts on the volute and rotate it. If he has a CCW rotation, you're out of luck. But the best thing to do is get his part number, give Vortech a call and see if it's a matching part number to a camaro.
