Stock Camaro SS 1/8 mile times

My best one of the day has been 9.099 in the 1/8 mile, bone stock, automatic transmission. Is that slow compared to others?

A little slow actually. That translates to a 14.2 1/4 mile time. It's never as easy as it looks is it? It is a lot of fun though.

Check out the fast list in the drag racing section. That should give you a good idea.

Those calculators are close, but I would rather compare to a real, similar car time slip. Here is mine.

I would guesstimate you would be about 13.90s.

I looked the official 1/8 times, and doesn't look like my times were that slow actually.

Use this to calculate for better weather conditions.

http://www.dragtimes.com/da-density-...calculator.php

and this to convert 1/8 to 1/4 E.T.s

http://www.chevellestuff.com/tech/eighth-to-quarter.htm

These numbers are a guesstimate at best. Take your car out this fall in better weather!
