Exclamation 2010 5th Gen ($5000) Camaro Shootout June 12th @ Midnight 1320. Hosted by H.P.D.!

S! 2010 (5th Gen) $$$ Racers!

***Message to Mods and Admins, If you stick this event here, or anywhere on your forum. Houston Performance Driving will make Camaro5.com a event sponsor. This forum will be on the T-Shirt, banners, media plugs in from interviews, and the flyer.***

Thank you Camaro5.com Staff.

OK Houston Area Racers! Houston Performance Driving (HPD) is hosting a 2010 5th Generation Camaro Shootout at Lonestar Motorsports Park in Sealy, TX. There has been a trendious amout of smack talk between 5th Gen Camaro shops, tuners, and private parties on who has the fastest street Camaro. 5th Gen owners from all over Texas will be coming to this shootout for their chance at the $5000 payout!

Midnight 1320 is set for June 12th, 2010. Houston Performance Driving is stepping forward to bring the Houston Area a fun filled night of racing. We encourage anyone that enjoys the "street racing lifestyle" to come and get involved with Midnight 1320. If you simply like 1/4 drag racing this event is for you too. This will be HPD's 6th Midnight 1320 event sense it began in 2008. The event has grown into a really massive event to enjoy. There will be more classes added to round with some cash winning for those that enter the "shoot out".

- There has been a massive amount of attention and criticism of the street scene here in Houston. Street racing has caused many injuries and even deaths in the Power City. It's now time to stop this behavior and take it to the track. Houston Performance Driving is stepping up to the plate with to educated newbs and old cats a like on good old fashion 1/4m drag racing.

- Give the track a chance! If you are a street racer...it's guaranteed that if you give the track a chance. You will feel that rush you get on the street. However in a safe, ticket-free, and controlled environment . YOU WILL GET HOOKED ON TRACK!

- Houston Performance Drivings mission is to bring all Houston Area race crews, forums, independents, and shops together for a different kind of track night* with a street racing theme. HPD is a forum that hosts many events throughout the year. Such has drag days/nights, meets, shows, cruises, and many social activities. HPD is a open forum to performance Imports and Domestics and those who push them to their limits.

Yeah....I'd be watching as well!

With several shops near by there will be some "shop" cars running and from what I seen at C5F...you better be running low 10s to get in on the final 4!

Wish I could be there but we'll be in Mobile at the last stop on Power Tour. Wouldn't have a chance at the "top spot" but it'd be fun to run

Someone with a 5th Gen Camaro is going to win $5000! Come join in the race or hang out to see who the real deal is. Some of the fastest shops and independents will battle it out for 5K and bragging rights. Should be 5th Gens coming from Houston, Dallas, Austin, and SA. There will be many media crews working the event to have HD Vid to prove it!

It looks like some of you guys are in the Houston Camaro Club. I have been on the site and wanted to pass this event along to you. Get you on the T-Shirts and banners....but have not heard back from the admins. Did not want to post the event without the club's "OK"....if anyone one from the HCC can help please PM here. Will do all I can to make it a great night for you guys.

Thank you.

Troy Dixon
HPD Staff.
