Car pulls to the left

Hello, My Car pulls to the left, It has since I got it last month, The service mananger said there not suposed to check it for the first 500 miles but he did anyway, He said it was out of tow they fixed it but it still pulls. He said to drive the car for awhile becuase the front end is really tight from the factory and it needs to break in. well I now hit 1020 miles and it still does it. Anyone else have this problem?

I did they have a great service center. They did do an allignment and it still pulls. I was just wondering if anyone else had this problem and if so how long "is brake in", and what needed to be done besides allignment to get fixed?

Its a sports car, The steering is supposed to be tight, but the car shouldnt pull to one side unless you got the roundtrack edition. They missed something, brakes hanging, bad wheel bearing, alignment, or the car carrier warped your car. wouldnt be the first time!

I thought my car was pulling also........ended up being the wind pushing me. I figured it out when heading back home in the other direction...

The car wasn't blowing all over like in my Suburban..just felt like it was pulling.

Take it back and have a complete alignment check, When you took it the first time you said the tech only checked the toe, have them recheck all three alignments ( Camber, Caster, and Toe ) just to eliminate the possibility of improper alignment.

My guess is that you might have too much positive camber or negative caster on the left side of the vehicle.

And to my knowledge Toe wouldn't cause the car to pull to either side anyways...

Saying it's a break-in issue is ridiculous. Something is wrong!

car should not pull right or left.when a car is new,it should be perfect.i always hate it when a dealer says,"that is normal",or "it needs to be broke in",or "drive it a while,it will be fine".your car has something wrong in the front end somewhere.

I had alignment issues, took it to a dealer where the service manager is one of the very best at front end alignments. It tracks straight as an arrow now...

If you watch the video on the Camaro factory, there is a guy right at the end of the line that whips a few turns here and there and as long as it is within tolerance, he proclaims it good and off it goes. I'm sure he is very good at what he does, and 99.9% of them are probably right on the money, but.... A good alignment person doesn't settle for tolerance, but strives to get it right...Mine is now right and it made a huge difference...

The first thing i would check would be the tire pressure.

500 miles break in for the alignment is horse crap. When I was a tech, I never saw an alignment correct itself in 500 miles.

If it pulls, something is out of whack. With wide tires on performance cars, even the slightest bit of being out can make it pull. I'd ask them to perfect the alignment. Not "within the ranges" , but get it real close to the dead center measurements.

Sounds like they did the old "set the toe and let it go"... The lazy ass method of just a quickie toe set and send you down the road. When what you probably really need is a full alignment where the caster, camber, and toe are perfected.

Tell them to do it right this time.

If it still pulls after the alignment is perfected, another possibility is radial tire pull. They would swap the tires side to side and see if it now pulls the other direction indicating a bad tire.

Most likely though, probably just needs a minor castor or camber adjustment. Sometimes a left pull just has too much road crown compensation in it. Often the right front has a bit more negative camber to it for road crown, maybe it's a hair too much.

Don't complain. Cars should only be good at two things...

1) Going Fast, and
2) Turning Left!

You sure you don't got 5 psi on the left side and 50 on the right?
