All you guys that have your 5th gen Camaro's in the 12's with STOCK TIRES what are you running your tire pressures at? And what was your 60' times? Stingraye's times are baffling me.

I run stock tires at around 32 lbs. My best 60' is a 1.87, but normally 1.95 to 2.0

So, I'm stock (muffler delete only)
my best time has been 13.4 in 85 degrees. I'm going again next weekend and it looks like we'll have some good temps.
I usually turn all electronics off, tire pressure at 26, I do a quick spin away from the water box and launch at 2K, slipping the clutch all the way out.

Does anyone have tips to get me into the low 13's or 12's. That's my goal.

A lot of it has to do with the track conditions. Some tracks are stickier than others.

Good temps! i would consistently run 13.6-13.9 when i was completely stock! in west palm beaches retarded hot weather but once a nice cold front came in it was like magic! 13.1-13.2 non-stop! a little traction problem but not too bad but these colder temps coming are awesome!!! and im an auto so you should be able to get high 12s in good conditions

Those of you that run the stock tires, at what rpm are you launching at or are you going off idle.

+1. Its a balancing act of holding RPM steady, launching and getting a feel for the hook to squeeze the gas down. I can repeat a 2.0 but need more work to get the 1.9 area.
