Car Cover help...need today!

Every morning before my morning drive, I always have to give my black camaro SS a good wipe down. It's a dust magnet. It's tedious but necessary. However, what happened this morning brought me over the edge. Some alley cats had been playing on my car all night and left it riddled with paw prints and cat dander. That's when I realized that I now have a profound hatred of cats and that I need a car cover. I called my local O'Reilly's and Auto Zone this morning. Unfortunately, they don't have car covers for my car readily available. It has to be ordered. I know I can get it online but I don't think I can take seeing my car like that again. Does anyone know where I can get a car cover today for my SS in the OC or around south east LA?

I have no idea where or even if they have a storefront you can purchase from today....but if you decide to order, their covers are very good.

(PS - I share your hatered for cats)

calcarcover has them in stock, Weathershield HP in gray, you can have them ship it or pick it up at

9525 DeSoto Ave, Chatsworth, Ca 91311

take 118W to De Soto, go left, 2.2 miles on right just before Plummer

less than an hour from you; https://maps.google.com/maps?saddr=d...=h&mra=ls&z=13

Call Monty at (800) 423-5525 he'll have it on the counter ready for you.

Make sure you get a good car cover, not a cheap one. I have one for my Camaro, but after a week it leaves a film on the paint. I washed it at commercial washing machine, and still the same issue. I also have a high end cloth one for my 1955 Chevy, with no issues. The Camaro one was under $200.00

You're gonna do more damage to your car with a cover on it outside than a cat will do. Just saying.

^THIS RIGHT HERE^
I have the weathershield HP and I park my car outside 24/7 and my car gets beaten with reclaimated sprinkler water and salty sea air all day long and the weathershield cover keeps it looking like I just washed it. Fits the car snugly and perfectly and has compartments for the mirrors and onstar fin. Look no further.

I'll take my chances...my car was getting hammered with chemical and mineral laden water on a daily basis. My freakin mirrors are permanently etched for gods sakes, something had to be done. I was hesitant to get a cover because I read about the damage that can occur, especially in high wind areas like I live in but whatever the damage the cover does, if any, would have been offset 10x by the damage not covering it would have done.

i make sure the car is clean and waxed before putting the cover on, most of the negative sentiments are based on old school covers that don't have the new space age technologies incorporated!

No, it's based on common sense that if you put a cover on a car that has the slightest bit of dirt on it then you're guaranteed to have a swirled or scratched surface.

Cover Craft Weathershield HP is the way to go. It is an excellent cover.
On a side note, Gammo makes a nice product to take care of your cat problem.
