I saw a fake 2ss on the 101 north this morning. I could have been fooled if he had been modest and used 1ss badges. The wheels and the headlights are what tipped me off. All I could say to myself was "come on man". I say be proud of your whip, no matter what package you have. Some people can't even afford a car in general.

I guess it pisses guys with SS's off because they are afraid someone with a 2011 Mustang V6 will race him and beat him and brag to all his friend that he beat a Camaro SS with a lowly stock Mustang V6... but think of this when he does come across a real SS and have his doors blown off he will think, "WTF happened????"

I have even seen complaints from SS guys about putting a SS nose on a V6 even without badges....... but its ok to debadge an SS and put a V6 Nose on an SS.. Double standard...
What about putting all the ZL1 stuff on a V6 or SS making it look just like a debadged ZL1? Isnt that being a fake too? But I have yet to see a thread from a ZL1 owner saying bad things about that...

Myself I like to make a model that does not exist and never has. Thus my Angrybird Special edition that I get asked about alot....

Hmmm... 1SS and 2SS have different badges? May need to check this first before making fun of people.

I think he was talking about the difference between an SS and a SS/RS, just got his terms confused.

WHITE SS EMBLEM = v8, SS without the "RS Package" RED SS EMBLEM = v8, SS WITH the "RS Package".

RED RS EMBLEM = v6, LLT WITH the "RS Package" No emblem = v6, LS without the "RS Package".

Eh, it's just a cosmetic mod IMHO. Anybody that really cares knows what to look for beyond the badges, so the only people that might be impressed are the same idiots that might confuse a Mustang with a Camaro.

Let them have their SS upgrade for the cost of some stinking badges.

How upset would you be if someone took an SS and put LS badges, front clip, and removed the spoiler?

I always thought it would be cool to have a sleeper.
