Well I went the other way. I did not like the looks of the red SS badges and changed them to white. Looks more traditional to me.

The only time a poser really bothers me is when it's being misrepresented during a sale.
Biggest offenders of this are folks that own an anniversary year & advertise it as an anniversary edition. Seems like every '78, '93 & '03 Corvette are advertised this way. |

Its his car, he can do what he wants with it; but, he IS subject to ridicule when questioned about it. You know he is telling people that he has an SS. I'd start asking him about his car if I found myself looking at one of these. See how much he knows...betcha not much!
Kinda like taping fake Nike Swoosh onto some pro 500 kicks... that would be sweet!

I could understand the logic of de-badging the car to make it look like a V6, but not the other way around...besides, the exhaust note, regardless of what kind it is, would give it away to anyone who knows anything. But, hey, it's his car...let him have his fun.
