Yes its AAC, but these inverters have exactly what you need, rectifier diodes, upgraded housing, and they are water proof.

These saved my a$$ on the install, I was going nuts wondering why the outer halos would only come on when I drove the car.

With the old inverters (the ones you have).. I took my car through a car wash one time, and the outer halo on the right side stopped working for a couple hours. Upon investigating, the inverter was making a hissing noise (Kind of sounded like electricity traveling between two points), after it dried it starting working again.

I'm not trying to throw the stock inverters under the bus, but I tried two different sets of them, both surfaced the same results.

Just trying to save you the incredible headache I went though.

Wow thanks a lot. I was just about to purchase some other cheap replacement ones. I've had a bad experience with AAC, but at least these are waterproof and prevent power backfeed. Hopefully they'll arrive before next weekend. Thanks again.
PS. How did you wire your halos?

No problem man.

I tied them into my Daytime running lights. The instructions said to use clips to connect the wires, instead I soldered the wires together, and used my own heat shrink wrap over them.
