It will be a good spot to get on track. There are lots of track events locally at Nola or CGB if you are looking for road course time.

For anyone interested:

The SCCA is hosting Track Night in America at NOLA MSP again this year. They have also added a starting line school to the April 13th event. Starting line has usually been an autocross school, but this year they expanded it to include a track school and rallycross.

I did the starting line autocross school last year and others on the forum have done it and it is a blast for a beginner. I'm assuming this one will be too. Unfortunately it is on a Thursday so it will require missing some work.

Does anyone have a recommendation on a shop I can go to for a complete brembo 6 piston caliper upgrade, and a SS master cylinder swap? I'm in the New Orleans area so anywhere about 50-100 miles from here would be great!

EPS is in Baton Rouge but I think they do more motor/powertrain than anything else might be able to help you out though.

Let me know if you are going to head out to track night/starting line in April.

Thanks guys I'll look into these shops. PPG is very close and seems to do great work but they seem to only want to work on high dollar stuff. They take forever to return calls and emails and charge and arm and a leg on top of all that
