I bought the ZL1 specifically for the LSA. I knew I could build a reliable 9 second street car - notice I didn't say daily driver. Although my wife had no problems driving it to work everyday for few weeks while she got some done on her SUV!

I was looking exclusively at CTS-V's and ZL1's. I almost purchased a CTS-V sedan, because I liked the rear doors and extra in the back for a car seat. But I found a good deal on the ZL1.

For the record, you can easily fit a rear facing car seat behind a vertically challenged passenger like my wife!

MIR is known for being an excellent track on the east coast. It was a private rental, and they had the right lane fully prep'ed to 660'. DA was also in my favor at 218. It's pretty common to see -100 DA or better at this track in November, as it only sits about 86' above sea level.

Those are some very impressive numbers especially from the .600 to .650 lift is where most camshaft upgrades are. Thanks for sharing very impressive!

9.25 @ 147 mph.

He builds some fast cars. From what I remember, he is quite a bit lighter than most CTS-V's on their list. It looks like there may be a couple in the 9.50 ET range, most with 60's in the 1.30's.

I think with a 3.73 gear to get my RPM up down the track and through the trap, a skinny setup, 1.3x 60' and additional IAT cooling mods (trunk tank & upgraded pump, or possibly chiller), the car COULD go sub 9.50.

My log shows 3 degrees of timing pulled at the top of the track due to high IAT @ 171 deg.

Im getting there. I remember commenting on your other thread. I went 10.0@141 last weekend 1st and only pass, shredded 2 ribs off the blower belt causing it to slip and lose boost. I cant manage faster than a 1.6 60' still

You're there - you just need to get that 60' down! I feel like you have the components to go deep into the 1.3's.
