Cleaning fuel system
I just had the car in the shop last week and they suggested I have my fuel system clean at a cost of $ 250 bucks. I was thinking of going too FTC and get an injector and fuel cleaning additive, would this do the the samething.

No. They are referring to a full emissions service. I do the total fuel system emissions service at my shop for 99 dollars. 250 seems a bit steep! The dealership does it cheaper than 250 also. The emissions service is not required but is a good thing to do every couple years or 30,000 kms. Not a must but your car will appreciate it!
