Been there, done that, got the ticket too .... 275.00 for 97 in a 70 in the interstate when I had my 98 Camaro.
Reached the top of the overpass at 105... Saw two state troopers at the bottom of the overpass... Oh, sh^%$^%$.... Slam on the brakes...pull over Trooper: Do you know how fast you were going? Me: Uhhhh, I'm not sure... (I really wasn't sure how fast I was going when he clocked me and wasn't going to admit anything ) Trooper: 97 MPH Hand him my license, registration and proof of insurance Sign the ticket Drive off slow.... So yeah, it's possible Probably a good thing I don't have new Camaro yet.... |

True, it is very HARD to drive slow.. With (finally!) the independent suspension, it rides way smoother than you feel you should be going. I have to set the cruise every time I hit the highway or I would've gotten pulled over plenty of times!

It gets harder when you add a tall cam that surges at lower revs and a grabby dual disc ceramic clutch.

The car can't breathe if its going "slow". Would you suffocate your dog? I didn't think so.
