Headed for the Heritage Museum Link to Nov '15 http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=432099 Here's a link to Enator's latest figures, if you're interested for Oct of 2015... http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=428475 Post #170 in this thread has all the latest graphs for October.... Thanks Enator... October 2015 Camaro Sales Figures (and vs. Mustang & Challenger) October 2015 Delivery (sales) Stats: Camaro October 2015 Deliveries (actual sales): 5,289 -2% (Pr Ye) Compared to Competition: Mustang October 2015 Delivery (sales):10,096 121% (Pr Ye) Challenger October 2015 Delivery (sales):5,409 31% (Pr Ye) Attached Images Mustang vs. Camaro: A Sales War to End all Wars Boldride Jonathon KleinJuly 2, 2015 When it comes to car rivalries, there are few beefs that compare to the Chevy Camaro and the Ford Mustang. For almost 50 years, these two muscle cars have been going head-to-head against one another. Whether that’s through performance, price, or the amount of smoke each can create from its tires. However, today we’re talking about a different battle between the two pony cars: a battle of sales figures. It appears the Mustang has taken the crown from the Camaro, which had six years on top. According to the Detroit News, the first five months of this year saw the Mustang come out on top in the sales wars. With 56,571 people buying the Mustang, the Camaro was beat by a whopping 20,000 units. This is a huge win for Ford, and gives the blue oval a much needed push for when the GT350 twins come out. However, those figures don’t really tell the whole story. RELATED: See more of the new Mustang here Ford introduced the new S550 Mustang just this year. And when new cars come out, sales figures usually spike due to pent up demand for a new product. That said, success is measured in how the car performs in the long run rather than just the first year. Based on that, the Camaro is still doing extremely well. This rings especially true with the unveiling of the 2016 sixth generation Camaro. Normally, when a new car debuts, there’s a significant drop in demand of the outgoing model, but given that the Camaro is still selling in good numbers, the Mustang may not have that much more time on top. We are still a few months away from Chevy releasing the new Camaro to the public. Given the record of accomplishment of the 5th generation, and all the improvements made to the 6th, the Mustang should enjoy its time in the limelight because it’s likely to get knocked off. Who would you put your money on? The Camaro or the Mustang to win the new muscle car wars? Last edited by 90503; 12-07-2015 at 11:07 AM. |

Please GM do not take 2 years to bring the performance model out. The Z06 was a year behind. I can handle that.

Challenger has now passed the Camaro. Wonder if this means heavy discounts coming this summer on 5th gens.

Mustang sales are really taking off. Wonder how many are for Hertz and Avis. No way I could buy one without seeing the new Camaro.

Why are there multiple graphs showing basically the same thing.
So what you're saying it, a all new Mustang is outselling a about to be replaced Camaro? The Challenger was significantly updated and is mearly catching up? Really? Really? Last edited by IOMike; 04-01-2015 at 03:25 PM. |

Challenger was recently updated not outdated and Camaro sales have been slowing for the first part of this year. I expected the Mustang to remain in the lead for now, but didn't see the Challenger catching up and passing the Camaro sales.

I meant to say updated! Whoops!
Anybody who wants a Camaro right now would be silly to look at a brand new 2015 with a all new significantly updated one around the corner. |

But the data is not surprising, you have a brand new heavily marketed Mustang vs. a Camaro that is on its way out that many people know is being replaced. |
