2 Recall Alerts?

My baby has been back to the dealer today for her 1st oil change and some minor warranty work (loose spoiler, trunk release), and I've just had a call from the dealer saying that they want to hang on to it as Chevy are sending out 2 warranty alerts tomorrow. The dealer said they won't know what they are until tomorrow though?!

Anyone know anything?

I think the service manager wanted a 2SS to drive around town tonight.

This is garbage. Even if it is true that recalls will be issued tomorrow, your dealer does business in more than Camaros.

yup, just did mine today, re-program hvac module to prevent evap freeze up, also the recall covers the loose spoiler nuts and an engine harness routed too close to the heater hose clamps

They bulletin has been out for about a week, its not a recall just a service update bulletin they are supposed to check out when your vehicle comes in for service, it involves checking the heater hose clamp under the hood to make sure its not contacting the wiring harness and if it is they rotate the clamp, theres an update for the HVAC module to prevent evaporator freeze up on an extended highway drive, and they reinstall the spoiler bolts with locktite. The bulletin applies to vin 36648 and under. The bulletin number in 09027A.

I'm having the HVAC module reprogram done next week. GM allowys 0.4 labor or 20 minutes to do the deed. As the service guy said, expect on being here for 30 minutes.
