1LE Badging

I think I'm going to order the heritage grill with no center emblem and paint it matte to match the hood. Then add a 1LE badge where the factory SS used to be on the lower corner driver side.

Most of these guys are dead on. A car guy will know what it is. Anybody else won't and couldn't care less. My Firehawk was a 1LE. Most people didn't know what a firehawk was much less what a 1LE was. About two weeks into owning it I just told people it was a Firebird. Personally I'm not one for badging cars and really wouldn't be opposed to stripping the camaro and ss badges off mine.

Thanks...ordered a 2SS 1LE in IOM with the only option being the NPP exhaust. Placed on 10-1-12 from a dealership that had an open 3 car window of allocation.

I am removing all badges, side camaro ones too. Chevy bow ties in black and the 1LE will use the ZL1 parts with the custom E. Somebody posted pictures of this already on the 1LE forums. That 1LE will go on back where the black SS is now.

Man, you have to leave the rear badge on so the guys behind you know what is blowing their doors off. With ur mods they will not have time to realize its a Chevy.

How about this:

FRONT

• Remove custom grill
• Add Heritage grill
• Add Retro SS logo on Heritage Grill
• Add Custom 1LE emblem on right of Heritage Grill where stock SS logo came.

BACK

• Remove stock SS emblem
• Add Custom 1LE emblem on right where stock SS emblem was
• Leave yellow bow tie alone

HOOD

• Add Custom 1LE emblem on each side like the ZL1 emblems
• Not sure if the hood wrap needs to be removed for this. Thoughts?
