Throttle body

Does anybody know if changing out a bad TB for a new one,require the computer to be flashed.I also have headers and a tune,don't know how that plays into it-would reinstalling my tune afterwards be considered reflashing?

EDIT
Just talked to dealer-they say no reflashing needed

Just curious, what is it about your current throttle body that is bad?

I put a Bo White TB on my car and the throttle response has become so much better!

Order a new pedal from Chevrolet (about 75 bucks) pull the 4 screws off that hold your gas peddle in place and replace it (about 10 min to do). Its a throttle position sensor that is going bad, I know I had it happen to me over the summer.

If it is the TPS as Mortious said, you may still have the problem.

Add a throttle controller and you will really be amazed. I wish I had done the VTC before the CNC Throttle Body... might have saved $150.

I think I'm gonna take ya up on it. . . this is what I am going to do after reading ALL the posts about the VTC and Poll results.

Gotta love C5 and it's members for all the useful information that's openly shared.

It keeps me from doing this.

I went with the BBK and haven't looked back... there are two sizes they sell for our cars, one they recommend a tune (102mm), the other is not needed (95mm);
