Purchased my car in December of 2010, it has 14.5k on it, and I think that's low, and some would find that high lol..
I drive my car to enjoy it, and driving it in rush hour traffic, and crappy weather sucks IMO, so I don't.

Bought mine brand new with 82 miles on it. It's a 2011 SS that I bought in June 2011. Currently have 3,005 miles on it. I usually only put about 1500 miles on it a year.

Just under 7k in my 2010 Supercharged ABM 2SS/RS. Bought in February with 4100 miles. Not my DD but can't stop driving it. Do a lot of car shows and Camaro club hangouts and a couple road trips. My wifes 2010 2SS has ~55,000. Bought it with 33,000 miles in December 2011, and was a daily driver up to about 48,000. Then she learned about modding and took my brand new truck as her daily driver. Low miles aren't going to do anything for you really unless you keep in low and maybe it'll be worth something in 25 years IMO. We try to keep low miles to be able to enjoy the cars longer.

I checked Edmunds for fun. A 2010 SS with 40000 miles on it = $27K, w/15000 $28K. Last edited by wakespeak; 05-07-2013 at 12:20 PM. |

Oh I can and sometimes I do.
The 1st axle broke from a dead stop. The 2nd axle actually broke on the 1-2 shift. Either way though, I very much enjoy stretching the LS3's legs on a daily basis .

I took delivery of my car 28 Jan 2011. Odometer now reads 50,630. I was driving it back and forth from home to Tucson because I was dating a little thing there, but then bought a house in Tucson and for 4 months, drove it everyday (122 miles round trip) until I bought my daily. Now I get it out at night and the weekends, it's my fun car.

All of our vehicles tend to have low mileage,
2010 Camaro bought 4/12 with 6800 now 15,000. 2006 TBSS bought at 16K sold 4 years later with 30K. 2006 MDX bought new in 2006, has 57K on it.

The Camaro SS is a mass produced (hundreds of thousands sold) vehicle that just loses value sitting in the garage. You might get a little more when you sell it, but you missed out on a lot of fun. Camaro/SS is a daily driver car (unless its snowing outside). |

According to KBB trade in value on an excellent condition 2010 Camaro SS/RS with 10,000 miles on it is around $30K, the same car with 36,000 miles is around $27K. So taking that into account 26,000 miles of fun just costs you $3,000 or 11.5 cents a mile.
