Question Need Your Opinions

So I wanted to buy Kooks long tube headers for my car but I'm not sure at this point. I already have an intake and catback exhaust on the car and it's my daily driver. The car has been to the dragstrip only once since I bought it in December of 2009. I was thinking about buying off-road midpipes (no cats) and a suspension package (springs and sway bars) for my car instead of headers, they cost about the same. I will be getting a dyno tune after either one. I'd like my car to handle better, it's a pretty good handling car but I want more. I feel like the suspension package would benefit me more. What are your guys thought? Long tube headers or midpipes and suspension package?

Don't get me wrong, I'd like to make my car faster...but not sure about paying $1400 for headers.

daily driver? dont do stiff suspension package, you think you will like it but if your roads are anything like denvers, you will hate it. for street use just stick to sway bars, but im sure everyone will battle me on this one. even just the lowering springs would drive me crazy. california, and you want to alter your cats??????

Kooks headers will be about 1150 and another 350 for installation. Im not going to keep the cats either way. Btw my bad, 1150 + 350 = 1500, not 1400

Headers Best Bang For The Buck!

Headers are the best mod you can make for a street car. They add a ton of HP and torque and a better sound even with stock cat backs. You don't have to pay $1400 for Kooks...just call MarylandSpeed and they will hook you up with some Kooks for lots less. Kooks headers are very easy to install, so do it yourself and save additional money (I posted some videos of my install and you'll see for yourself). Be wary of oriental made headers...I've heard some pretty bad stuff about them and you can search C5 and see for yourself.

I'm happy for you...when I don't need mine any more I can take them off and sell them for $800.

Not worth it for a daily driver. You'll get used to the power in about 2 days and you'll just want more. Use the money on other stuff.

Plus LTs aren't street legal in ca anyways. Not that it's stopped anyone.

The suspension will make it loud inside, and so would the headers!

Can't go wrong with headers, get the supsension done later on if you can. Thing is; regardless if you put them on yourself, you'd be doing well to get a tune.

I vote headers from Juiced Motorsports. Then suspension........from Juiced Motorsports. You'll enjoy the headers a lot more, it is really a great mod.
