2014 1LE Dealer Pricing-please weigh in
I know, I know...see pricing thread. But since this is a 14 1LE 2SS/RS thought if address to the LE guys.
MyLink, Sunroof, NPP. 44.5. I think there is still room. Already walked, trading 08 335, 66k miles, no note. I'm at dinner and took a pic of the options. LOVE the car- just want to be lower on new note. |

Just a tip from a long time Chevy salesman who just left the dealership, if your a credit union member, just tell them than and you get invoice pricing.

If your going to get a 1LE then don't waste money on the 2SS and RS package. The 1LE option is a performance package and the 2SS/RS package takes performance away by adding weight and the RS package adds nothing since you don't get the RS wheels when you get the 1LE package.
The 1LE dealer pre-orders are to get money and nothing else, it doesn't sound like they are considering performance when ordering them that way. I would recommend a custom order and get what you want. Ask around, the best 1LE is the 1SS with no RS package and it will come in about $4500 less. Definitely get the NPP option exhaust and backup camera with the 1SS, they are a must. Ditto on the credit union thing as well, that helps. |

The rs still adds halos which are just bad ass. It's also going to add matching molding and rear light ascents And for the 2ss...in not paying 35-40k and not having leather. The 2ss adds less weight than a sunroof or a 1/4 tank of gas to an already heavy car. By no means is adding rs or 2ss undoing what the 1le package adds |

Thanks for the replies but no one answering the price question directly. Too much? Car has nitrogen, door protection, (2) sets of mats and lifetime guaranteed tint. Still think its too much.

The price you were quoted does seem high. Pay invoice or below and you know you're getting a fair deal. In a usaa member so I get 750 below invoice.
Dealers don't pay invoice, that's just a common assumption. |

So how far off are you? Depends on how bad you want it and how much you want to haggle. Wasnt thinking a bit about what I paid for it when I went to pick mine up. Not one bit.
