Install Shop Recommendations

Can anyone recommend a reputable shop in the Huntington Beach area that will install my Stainless Works Catback Exhaust system, CAI inc. intake system, and Skip Shift Eliminator on my 2012 Camaro SS?

Is there a reason why you wouldn't want to install the CAI intake yourself? You could save some money there and the install isn't too bad. You can watch my crappy DIY video if you wanted:

Is Haddad Motorsports (Inglewood) too far for you?

Some shops don't like to install product you don't purchase from them. If there is an issue with the part it can be a real problem, not to mention the liability.

It would be like my patients saying "I want you to write me a prescription based off of something somebody else told me."

Thanks for the video. I did consider doing the intake myself but was concerned about the piece that has to be melted (tubing) to get a good fit. I figured that if I had to get the exhaust installed, I might as well have them install the intake as well. I will keep your video handy and probably give it a shot.

No, Inglewood would not be too far. Have you dealt with them before?

Sorry Doc, but I have to disagree with you on that. We're comparing apples and oranges here. Not all shops are your larger dealers that only deal with you ordering the parts from them. I have found a few that will do the work for me but my main concern is, "are they reputable". Hence, the reason for reaching out to fellow Camaro owners. Thanks anyway.

+1 about Haddads. Give them a call and check their schedule. I think all they had was dyno tuning going on this week so the lifts should be open. I'm sure Mike is gonna charge by the hour regardless if you purchased it from him or not. The only difference is he will not warranty the parts. I'm not totally positive about his policies so it's prob best to call over there.

Yeah, no worries. I used a lighter to melt the tubing and it turned out great.

But if I were to recommend a shop, Haddad would definitely have my vote!
