Edelbrock E-Force Supercharger?
Anyone checked this out yet?
http://www.edelbrock.com/automotive_...o/street.shtml They even offer a full power train warranty up to 5 years, 100,000 miles for $775. Not bad. |

Many many threads on this
Warranty is ONLY good for stock parts - any upgrades, and you're toast!

and the warranty only is valid with their very safe tune. Which means you don't get the full potential out of the supercharger in the first place. If it were me i'd be more worried about buying a good unit at a decent price and getting a custom tune done by someone who knows their shit.

I dunno...I am leaning pretty hard to a twin turbo setup.

That I am. Not looking to have this done tomorrow, but maybe by the end of the year or sometime next. The dealer has some custom 22" TSWs that are $4500 at dealer cost they also are trying to sell to me and I can't pass it up. But am thinking of what I want to do next after the rims. I'm doing a lot of reading and phone calls though.

Those 22 inchers on the rear can slow the car down overall. Takes more power to spin larger wheels/tires. You do not see guys that know drag racing use that tall a wheel/tire combo. I would stay with max of 20 inchers. I would get the same wheel you like in 20 inch, probably for nesr the same cost to you. My 2 cents

But they look cool. I'd actually may end up buying some 19s or 18s at some point just for the track or even another set of the stock 22s but for the most part, I don't really plan on going to the track. Maybe a couple times a year. Never even been to the track before besides just to watch.
They were just beautiful though. Wish I took a pick. I may go to the dealer today to take another look at them. If they didn't have them I'd be picking up this Edelbrock or a TT setup instead but I can't pass up this deal. I would suspect they would be over $10,000 if I tried to get them made myself. Plus they also had some really nice tires on them. |

Actually looking at the install guide from Edelbrock makes it seem pretty easy to install. I never have installed a supercharger before, or done anything deep into the motor but I am technical and they are pretty detailed in their directions. It seems like something I could do own my own and save my self $1,500 or so on the labor to install it.
